I couldn't agree more that Californians should vote on parental notification - that is, they should be told if their daughters choose to abort their babies.

After homeschooling her for five years, my daughter wanted to attend public school last year. I was shocked to read the school literature at the beginning of the year and find out that part of public schooling in this state is to provide children with the chance to get birth control and abortions behind their parents' backs!

Abortion, aside from the death of the infant, is a major health risk to anyone having one, and this is definitely something parents need to be aware of.
